If when navigating the site you are repeatedly asked to log in to each topic then your browser settings may need tweaking. The suggested setting below should negate having to log in all the time. You must have 'cookies enabled' by both your browser and in your basejump.org profile. When using Internet Explorer (IE) go to: > Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced > Check: (tick in the box)- "Overide automatic cookie handling"
- both "Prompt" radio buttons, and
- "Always allow session cookies."
Then click "OK." To ensure it is working O.K. close IE. Re-open IE. Go to: Tools > Internet options > General > Delete Cookies > OK > OK. Close IE. Re-open IE. go to basejump.org. You should see only F.A.Q.s, Merchandise and reviews. Click log out > basejump.org > enter Username and Password > log In. You should now have the full topic menu in front of you. Sweeeeet! ------------------------------------ N.B. You may want to tweak your own security setting to suit your own needs. I have found that by using "XP" with all the security setting turned on and using "Zone Alarm" I haven't had any problems with security at all. |
