Hi all. My father and I have decided to try and make a copy of the 'Pendulator' B.A.S.E exit training system (the two ropes between two trees setup which you may have seen in person or on movies pictures etc.) which originated in Norway, and has been copied around the world since. It was designed to practice B.A.S.E exits, concentrating on getting the right body position. One of the things we need to know is what type of rope the original setup is using. Does anyone know? Is it a certain type of climbing rope? We were planning on contacting the owners of an adventure park (highwire ropes etc.)in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast to see if they could help us out, but I thought I might post this here to get some feedback from you all. No, this isn't a random idea we pulled out of a hat one day, so please don't slam me if you think it is. If anyone has any information on the type of rope, or the Pendulator at all, please post it, or e-mail me at sas_rocks_794@yahoo.com Thanks for your time. |
